This project includes many different screensavers. Some of them may seem similar, but they're all different. It's mostly a collection of eye candy, but you'll also get to see some of the new features in Windows XP (and previous versions of Windows) that you can use in your own software. Almost all of the screensavers are at least somewhat modified versions of the screensavers that came with the operating system. The exception is "Skyrocket", a screensaver that replaces the regular Windows screensaver with a fireworks effects one. These screensavers will function in Windows XP (and previous versions of Windows) as they did when originally released.
